Abilities: Poor Altair wasn't blessed with a very balanced body. His feet and hands are too big and his tail is awkwardly thick for his lean body and small head. However, his very large and agile wings make him a monarch of the sky. He can soar for hours even if he has to flap to keep aloft. His endurance in the air is amazing even though his speed isn't all too great. Still, he's faster than most. His big wings and large feet also come in handy for swimming. His blade-like tail helps amazingly, as well. On land, his main defence is his magic while he attacks by wipping around his karotine-tipped tail. His teeth are small and don't inflict much but once he has a grip its hard to get out of his needle-like teeth. His arms are fairly useless but his legs can deliver quite the kick.

Personality: Quiet and extremely easy going. Altair has a good natured temperment that is hard to phase. He easily takes everything in stride and can always find the postive side of things. He rarely gets mad and when he does its usually for a very good reason. Very innocent.

Extra Info (ANTHRO ONLY!): No wings. Replace head barbs with spiked hair. Usually wears very formal attire. Right handed.

History: Being a star, it is impossible to know how old Altair is. Despite his youthful appearance, he could very well be billions of years old. He was sent to the earth to guard a young dragonness named Fireheart but when he landed, it was pretty violent as you can imagine. He forgot who he was and where he came from and his purpose. All he knows is that he feels compelled to watch over Fireheart and keep her from harm. Being unable to remember anything, he made his own name after the stars because he felt akin to them though he wasn't sure why.
